Some pages on this site contain affiliate links; if you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
How this affects what you see
It doesn't. Product rankings on GlowRecs are calculated mechanically from Reddit consensus — the formula is documented on our methodology page. No brand has ever paid for placement, and we have no editorial relationship with any brand or retailer. If a product ranks #1, it's because the math says so, not because someone wrote us a check.
When we earn money
We earn a small commission only when a reader clicks an Amazon link from GlowRecs and goes on to complete a purchase within the standard Amazon referral window. We don't see your payment details, your shipping address, or what else was in your cart — Amazon only tells us that a sale happened and what category it was in.
We use Amazon's OneLink system, which automatically routes international visitors to their local Amazon storefront. That keeps shipping costs sane and makes the affiliate program work in 10+ countries.
What we don't do
- We don't accept paid placements, sponsored posts, or product gifts.
- We don't write reviews based on press samples.
- We don't manipulate rankings to favor brands with higher commission rates.
- We don't track you across the web.
