How we count

Every number in these tools traces back to a tagged mention in a public Reddit thread — a real person naming a real product. We deduplicate by username, classify sentiment, and weight products by distinct redditors rather than raw comment volume, so one enthusiastic poster can't move a ranking. When the threads are split, the verdict says so. The full method, including what we deliberately don't count, is on the methodology page.
