GlowRecs is a small independent project. We aggregate real beauty discussions from 50 Reddit subreddits into product rankings — K-beauty essences, skincare serums, makeup, hair bonds, fragrance, body care, and tools. We read every message we receive but reply selectively, prioritizing factual corrections and methodology questions.

Good reasons to write
- Factual corrections. A misattributed quote, a wrong rating, an out-of-date claim about a Korean brand or routine — please tell us, with a Reddit thread URL if you have one.
- Reddit-quote takedown. If you're a redditor whose comment is quoted on the site and you want it removed or attributed differently, we'll act on that within 48 hours.
- Methodology questions. Want to know how a sentiment percentage was calculated, why a product is ranked at the position it is, or how the Wilson 95 % CI works? Glad to walk through it.
- Broken links, 404s, or rendering glitches. Especially helpful if you note the URL, the device, and the browser version.
- Brand owners. If your product is misrepresented, send the correction with a verifiable source. We don't take down legitimate consensus, but we do correct factual errors.
Things we can't help with
- Personal skincare advice. We're not dermatologists. For ingredient suitability, allergy concerns, or active skin conditions, please see a board-certified professional.
- Brand pitches, sponsorships, or paid placements. We don't accept these — see our affiliate disclosure for the full revenue model.
- Press samples or product gifting. Every recommendation must be supported by attributable Reddit evidence, not by a gifted sample.
- Adding your store or affiliate program. Our recommendation engine is fully driven by Reddit data — we can't insert products that aren't already discussed by the community.
What we're working on
The catalog now covers more than 300 products across skincare, hair, fragrance, makeup, body care, and devices. Its evidence base contains more than 1.3 million Reddit posts and comments. We refresh the corpus and verdicts when new evidence has been quality-checked; suggestions are welcome, but a product is never inserted merely because a brand or reader asks for it.
Response time: typically within a week. If you don't hear back within two weeks, the message probably got lost — feel free to nudge.
